Spectron Pricing Policies:
- Spectron
pricing is the same for all domestic customers, including the U.S.
Government, for like quantities, and under the same terms and
conditions.
- Spectron
requires a negotiated down payment on all contracts, due on or about
the date of the contract, in order to minimize the risk and simplify
the procedures in the event of premature termination of the purchase
agreement. The remaining balance of the amount due is
NET 30 from
the date of shipment. A 2% per month late payment fee is assessed
for payment beyond 30 days.
- Spectron
shipping is F.O.B.
Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Shipping charges and insurance
is prepaid by Spectron and added to unit pricing quoted below.
- Pricing does
NOT include training in the general Theory of Display Testing or
consultation in the development of techniques and strategies in the
use of the display measuring equipment. Such services are offered
and contracted for separately.
- Although many
aspects of a user's requirements may be satisfied by the use of
previously developed DASH
measuring systems, it has been Spectron's
experience that no two users have ever had identical
requirements. Consequently, Spectron has
developed the following procedure as the most cost effective method
of dealing with new orders for the DASH
system:
- Spectron
will incorporate, wherever possible, previously developed and
standard fixture components in the new order.
- If a
relatively minor modification to an existing component can serve
the user's requirement, this will be done, and the Accessory
Group price will be adjusted up or down to reflect the cost of
production for the modified unit.
- If a major
modification to an existing component is necessary to meet the user's
requirement, a Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) charge for the
modification will be agreed to, and the Accessory Group price
will be adjusted up or down to reflect the cost of production
for the modified unit.
- If an
entirely new unit must be developed to meet the user's
requirement, Spectron will separately contract for a prototype
unit based on a mutually agreed upon Statement of Work. Typical
pricing for the prototype unit will include a price for the
unit, a NRE charge for development, and a
T&M funding provision
for training, interface, and rework requirements. Upon
successful development of the prototype, Spectron will then
provide fixed pricing for subsequent production units.
- Spectron billing
rates for calendar year 2016: Engineering Hours @ $232.00 and
Technician Hours @ $166.00
